Terms of Service

Last updated: 1 March 2026

1. Acceptance of terms

By accessing or using GST Clarity AI (“the Service”), available at gstclarityai.in, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree with any part of these terms, you must not use the Service.

2. Description of service

GST Clarity AI is an AI-powered tool that analyses uploaded GST notices and generates structured, plain-language explanations including risk assessments, deadline extraction, and suggested next steps. The Service is designed to help users understand their GST notices and is intended as an informational tool only.

3. Not legal advice

The explanations generated by GST Clarity AI do not constitute legal, tax, financial, or professional advice. The Service uses artificial intelligence to interpret document content and may contain errors, omissions, or inaccuracies. You should not rely solely on the output of this Service for making legal or financial decisions. We strongly recommend consulting a qualified Chartered Accountant or tax professional before taking any action based on the information provided.

4. AI-generated content disclaimer

All explanations, risk assessments, and recommendations are generated by artificial intelligence models. While we strive for accuracy, the quality of output depends on factors including document clarity, scan quality, notice complexity, and the capabilities of the AI model at the time of processing. We do not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or reliability of any AI-generated content.

5. User responsibilities

You are responsible for ensuring that the documents you upload are your own or that you have authorisation to upload them. You must not upload documents containing content unrelated to GST notices. You must not attempt to misuse the Service, reverse-engineer its functionality, or use it for any unlawful purpose.

6. Payments and pricing

The Service charges ₹99 (Indian Rupees) per GST notice processed. Payment is required after viewing the free risk preview and before accessing the full explanation. All payments are processed through Razorpay, a PCI-DSS compliant payment gateway. Prices are inclusive of applicable taxes and may be updated with prior notice.

7. Refund policy

Refunds are available in the following circumstances: (a) the Service fails to process your document due to a technical error; (b) the AI determines that the document quality is insufficient to generate a reliable explanation (low confidence); (c) you are genuinely unsatisfied with the quality of the explanation provided. To request a refund, contact us at gstclarityai@gmail.com with your registered email address and details of the issue. Refund requests are reviewed on a case-by-case basis and processed within 2 business days. Approved refunds are issued to the original payment method via Razorpay.

8. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, GST Clarity AI, its founder, and its affiliates shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from or related to your use of the Service, including but not limited to damages arising from reliance on AI-generated content, missed deadlines, incorrect risk assessments, or any action taken based on the Service’s output. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount paid by you for the specific transaction giving rise to the claim.

9. Intellectual property

All content, design, code, and functionality of GST Clarity AI are the intellectual property of GST Clarity AI. You retain ownership of the documents you upload. You grant us a limited, non-exclusive licence to process your uploaded documents solely for the purpose of providing the Service.

10. Service availability

We strive to maintain the Service’s availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation. We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue the Service at any time with reasonable notice. Scheduled maintenance will be communicated in advance where possible.

11. Governing law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India. Any disputes arising from or relating to these Terms or the Service shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Bangalore, Karnataka, India.

12. Dispute resolution

In the event of a dispute, both parties agree to first attempt resolution through good-faith negotiation. If negotiation fails within 30 days, the dispute shall be referred to arbitration under the Arbitration and Conciliation Act, 1996, with the seat of arbitration in Bangalore, Karnataka. The arbitration shall be conducted in English by a sole arbitrator mutually agreed upon by both parties.

13. Changes to these terms

We reserve the right to update these Terms at any time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated effective date. Continued use of the Service after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
